Offered $1.08 billion to CHESAPEAKE ENERGY CORP for an interest in CHK's Eagle Ford shale project in Texas, October 11, 2010. Agreed to acquire NEXEN (NYSE:NXY) July 23, 2012 for $15.1 Billion, $27.50 per share.
